Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring an AI Systems Lead to own the AI systems layer of our consumer product used by millions. You will work with OpenAI to integrate next‑gen voice models and workflow automation, and you will shape the next bets for our high‑volume chatbot operations, including guardrails and evaluation frameworks.

You will partner with subject matter experts to convert domain knowledge into scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

3+ years in product engineering or forward deployed engineering, ideally in an early stage startup.
Hands-on experience putting LLM-based systems into production, including evals, regressions, latency, cost, failure handling.
Ability to design scalable AI systems and guardrails for production in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Decide what to build next in AI and build a case for it.
Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
Evaluate emerging AI technology and prototype what's worth building.
Design evaluation frameworks and guardrails balancing latency, cost, and accuracy.
Set the technical bar for chatbot systems and guide the prompt engineering team.
Build automations across areas like record disputes, email/callout reduction, and document validation.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate domain knowledge into robust systems.
