Job summary

Vantor seeks a Principal, AI Strategy & Engineering Transformation to turn AI experiments into repeatable, secure engineering capabilities. You will define the strategy for AI-assisted software delivery while staying close enough to prototype work to validate workflows and drive adoption across engineering teams.

You will operate across Engineering, Product, Security, Compliance, IT, and Leadership, delivering measurable improvements in tooling, governance, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience across software engineering, developer platforms, or enterprise technology transformation.
• Hands-on experience building AI-assisted workflows and developer automation.
• Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including Git-based workflows, CI/CD, testing, and secure development practices.
• Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into structured experiments, roadmaps, and clear decisions.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving engineers, senior leaders, platform owners, security, compliance, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain AI strategy and toolkit roadmap for engineering delivery.
• Design, prototype, and validate AI-assisted workflows for coding, testing, documentation, and automation.
• Lead adoption programs with engineers and embedded Champions to drive scalable usage.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, Privacy, IT, and governance teams for responsible AI use.
• Define success metrics and translate pilots into reusable patterns and playbooks.
