Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. seeks a Lead AI Security Operations Engineer to design, secure, and operate AI-enabled security across IT and OT environments. Lead an advanced SOC to detect, monitor, and respond to threats targeting traditional infrastructure and agentic AI systems.

The role requires 7+ years in information security, experience with AI security, and strong knowledge of SOC, cloud, and PKI. May be based at HQ in Salisbury, MD or remote within a four‑hour radius with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ experience in Information Security, including AI/ML security or automation.
• Experience operating advanced SOCs or AI-driven security environments.
• Experience in IT and OT environments, including ICS/SCADA.
• Strong expertise in threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, cloud security, IAM, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate an AI-enabled SOC for IT, OT, and agentic AI systems.
• Deploy AI-driven detection, triage, and response capabilities to augment SOC workflows.
• Integrate SIEM, SOAR, and AI analytics for intelligent detection and response.
• Conduct threat hunting focused on AI misuse and OT/ICS threats.
• Lead vulnerability management programs and remediation tracking.
• Manage PKI lifecycle, certificate management, and trust chains.
• Lead incident response activities, including investigation and root cause analysis.
