Job summary

FM is seeking an Enterprise AI Security Engineer to join our Johnston, RI HQ with the flexibility to work from home two days per week. This senior security engineering role defines security requirements for enterprise AI capabilities and designs the supporting controls.

You will partner with platform, engineering, and product teams to implement security patterns across Copilot, Claude, and agent-based AI systems.

Qualifications

• Security engineering experience in cloud, IAM, data protection.
• Experience defining security requirements and guardrails for enterprise environments.
• Practical AI/LLM security knowledge and risks.
• Familiarity with Azure-based platforms and related capabilities.
• Collaboration with engineering/platform/product teams to embed security into design.
• Experience evaluating technologies and guiding technical decisions.
• Ability to work across complex, cross-functional environments and drive initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition, design, and implementation of security capabilities for secure enterprise AI adoption across platforms.
• Define security and risk requirements for enterprise AI platforms and agent-based systems.
• Translate security, risk, and regulatory expectations into technical controls, guardrails, and implementation patterns.
• Partner with AI platform, engineering, and product teams to embed security requirements into architecture and operations.
• Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for AI use cases and integrations.
• Define and guide implementation of controls related to AI agent identity, tool access, data usage constraints, auditability, and agent behavior.
• Lead evaluation and selection of native and third-party capabilities that support AI security.
• Assess integration requirements across identity, logging, data protection, and security tooling.
• Drive cross-functional implementation efforts to operationalize AI security capabilities and processes.
• Maintain practical standards, guidance, and best practices for secure AI deployment.
