Job summary

TeamViewer in Austin, TX seeks a Web Frontend Architect to own and define the architecture of the web shell platform. You will set standards for frontend components, design systems, accessibility, and performance across multiple teams.

You will drive AI-enabled experiences, lead architecture reviews, and ensure consistent delivery across products and locations, while maintaining clear documentation and mitigating technical risks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale web architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, design systems and frontend patterns.
• Experience designing and scaling AI-enabled web experiences with performance and accessibility considerations.
• Solid frontend quality practices including testing, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating technical risk including dependencies and open-source software.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/SE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and technical direction of TeamViewer's web platform, including frontend framework and accessibility considerations.
• Define standards for AI-powered features and consistent delivery across web products.
• Establish frontend architecture standards, reusable patterns, and maintainable code structures.
• Drive quality through automated testing, accessibility compliance, performance monitoring, and AI experience evaluation.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to multiple teams during delivery.
• Partner with engineering to ensure alignment across products, platforms, and locations.
• Maintain architecture documentation and proactively identify technical risks.
