Job summary

Cisco is growing the AI Canvas Technical Marketing Engineer team to advance the AI Platform, including AI Canvas and AI Studio evolution. This role links networking, security, and Agentic AI to deliver a unified services layer for identity, topology, inventory, and licensing in AI-first operations.

The Principal TME will shape technical strategy, produce compelling collateral, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and product marketing to drive adoption and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 15+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 12 years, or PhD with 8 years.
• Broad and deep technical expertise in enterprise-grade networking and security protocols.
• Experience with AI technologies, particularly Agentic AI and AI platform development.
• Proven ability to develop technical marketing materials and communicate complex concepts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of advanced agentic workflows, including agentic skill development, MCP server creation and augmentation, and agentic harness development.
• Translate complex platform innovations into compelling technical collateral for internal teams and strategic enterprise customers.
• Serve as a technical advocate shaping the vision for scalable AI-driven network operations.
• Align AI capabilities with existing infrastructure to deliver competitive, market-leading solutions.
• Collaborate across engineering, sales, and product marketing to ensure platform success and customer satisfaction.
