Qualifications

• 17+ years of software engineering experience; BSc, 14+ years with MS, or 10+ years with PhD.
• 5+ years at Principal level influencing tech strategy across at least 3 product areas.
• 2+ years deploying LLM-based systems handling 10,000+ daily users or 500+ rps.
• Produced production-grade multi-agent system using LangGraph, Temporal, or equivalent stack.
• 10+ years coding in Go, Python, or Rust in hyperscale environments.
• Experience implementing safety/observability features in production.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between cutting-edge AI research and large-scale engineering.
• Drive alignment across Cisco’s engineering org for secure, scalable AI services.
• Own technical trajectory from model context to guardrails across the stack.
• Define multi-year technical strategies for agentic systems and architectural alignment.
• Mentor senior leaders and represent Cisco at industry forums.
