Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience including architecture and delivery of production applications.
• Hands-on experience building and operating LLM-powered or agentic applications with model APIs, tool calling, and RAG.
• Strong proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or a similar language with API and data-model design.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, source control, observability, and secure development.
• Experience integrating enterprise data sources and building data pipelines; SQL knowledge.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and the ability to balance rapid experimentation with maintainability, security, and business risk.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain complex technical choices to stakeholders.
• Ability to travel occasionally, up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• AI Application & Agent Development: design, build, test, and deploy production-quality AI applications and agents.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) services and a governed knowledge layer with traceable standards and project history.
• Develop specialist agents and deterministic workflow components with human review and escalation paths for high-impact decisions.
• Create automated evaluation, testing, guardrails, monitoring, and cost-management practices.
• Data & Enterprise Integration: connect AI apps to approved sources such as PLM, ERP, MES, SharePoint, and factory data.
• Design and implement secure APIs, services, connectors, and data contracts with auditability and maintainability.
• Technical Leadership & Delivery: own architecture roadmap, build-versus-buy decisions, and mentor engineers.
