Job summary

Capital One’s Intelligent Foundations and Experiences team is building an enterprise Generative AI Platform that enables product teams to compose powerful, safe, and explainable AI capabilities. You will design agentic workflows, shared services like memory and guardrails, and blueprints translating foundation model power into production-grade apps used across lines of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI and 8+ years of AI/ML development experience.
• Experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java (8+ years).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, program managers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products and improve associate/customer interactions.
• Contribute to the platform architecture, APIs, and orchestration for agentic workflows and RAG pipelines.
• Standardize and automate agentic workflows by evaluating frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, LlamaIndex) to meet enterprise SLAs.
• Develop GenAI SDKs, CLI, and starter kits to accelerate secure, observable agentic workflows from prototyping to production.
• Support trust and safety through guardrails, content filters, and audit APIs across applications.
• Collaborate with architects to optimize orchestration, batching, caching, and cost, and drive RFCs like hierarchical memory and multimodal guardrails.
