Job summary

Links Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking an AI/ML Engineer III to serve as the primary technical lead for rapid R&D prototyping of autonomous technologies in a fast-paced team. The role focuses on architecting proof-of-concept AI/ML builds and mentoring growing engineers.

The ideal candidate will bridge leadership vision and technical execution, deliver end-to-end AI/ML prototypes, and collaborate across software, hardware, and data science teams to advance autonomous platform functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Math/Stats with 6+ years experience or 9+ years without a degree.
• Proficient in TensorFlow and PyTorch with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models to production.
• Strong Python and C++, C#, or Java skills.
• Leadership skills with mentoring and upskilling engineers.
• Knowledge of AI/ML regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day AI/ML expert and technical lead for rapid R&D prototyping teams.
• Define architecture, direction, and requirements for new AI/ML initiatives and prototypes.
• Architect end-to-end AI/ML prototypes incl. data ingestion, training, deployment, and evaluation.
• Lead development of ML models (CNNs, RNNs, transformers) and DL architectures.
• Translate leadership guidance into actionable roadmaps and designs.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and data teams to integrate AI/ML components.
• Identify staffing/tooling/data needs and manage technical risks.
• Develop validation/testing frameworks for performance, safety, and compliance.
• Lead signal processing, CV, and planning algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Design large-scale simulations on CPU/GPU platforms.
• Prepare demonstrations and technical briefings for stakeholders.
