Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Lead AI/ML Engineer to lead AI-driven Operations for a large-scale healthcare platform. You will design Digital Twin solutions, drive predictive analytics, and mentor multi-disciplinary teams across cloud-native services, incident management, and automation.

You will leverage cloud platforms and modern CI/CD practices to enhance platform reliability, scale, and operational intelligence, with remote flexibility but in-office presence required in select locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or equivalent.
• 5+ years leading technical teams or large-scale production operations for enterprise platforms.
• 3+ years designing and deploying AI-powered solutions in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and IaC tools.
• 3+ years with container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years in incident management and war-room execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions and Digital Twin capabilities for platform health.
• Lead AI/ML model development, predictive analytics, and operational automation.
• Drive SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, and automated workflows to reduce toil.
• Mentor engineers and align architecture across cross-functional teams.
• Lead Major Incident Management and war-room activities for critical events.
