Job summary

Commerce is seeking an AI Lead Software Engineer to drive the AI vision and ship AI-driven product solutions at scale. You will work with product and engineering leaders to translate high-level designs into low-level implementations, ensuring measurable outcomes through mentorship and execution.

Based in the Austin area with a hybrid work model, you will lead multi-domain initiatives, optimize ROI, and advance AI infrastructure from RAG pipelines to multimodal LLMs across the platform.

Qualifications

• Significant experience architecting and shipping Agentic AI systems in production.
• Strong server-side engineering in Python, Go, Java, or similar.
• Experience building product solutions with LLMs and GenAI technologies.
• Familiarity with modern AI infrastructure and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to shape AI strategy.
