Job summary

Target's Advanced AI team is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML applications that drive automation and insights across core business workflows.

You will partner with Data Scientists, engineers, product partners, platform teams, and security to translate ambiguous problems into scalable technical solutions while upholding Target's enterprise standards for security, reliability, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree in Quantitative disciplines or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in production systems.
• Strong experience with Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with model APIs, prompt orchestration, and AI engineering patterns.

Responsibilities
