Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to architect and deliver agentic AI applications that connect clinical data, workflows, and enterprise tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software, cloud, or AI engineering experience, preferably in consulting or client-facing roles.
• Hands-on agentic AI design including orchestration, memory, planning, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Strong Google Cloud AI Platform depth with Vertex AI, Gemini, and related services.
• Proficiency in languages like Python, TypeScript, Go, and AI-focused frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), containers (GKE/Cloud Run).
• Healthcare data experience (EHR/PHI) and HIPAA/compliance familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver agentic AI systems that connect clinical data and workflows.
• Lead Google Cloud Vertex AI delivery including tools, models, and search.
• Build ML pipelines for clinical notes and documents, improving accuracy and speed.
• Establish MLOps pipelines, testing, observability, and secure release management.
• Provide forward-deployed technical leadership and client-facing mentorship.
• Create reusable patterns and accelerators for Insight delivery.
