Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with Python or Java and production code maintenance.
• Cloud native experience with AWS services and IaC (Terraform) and AWS components (S3, EC2, EMR).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Knowledge of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, security, and resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions with design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and code reviews.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and outcomes.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to increase value.
