Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and expansion of enterprise DLP capabilities with a focus on AI-driven automation. You will own DLP platform integration and strategy across cloud, endpoint, SaaS, and SSE environments, driving scalable data protection that reduces risk and enables secure innovation.

In this hybrid role, you will partner with cybersecurity, risk, IT, and business teams, architecting unified DLP policies and overseeing end-to-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 8+ years in information security, including 4+ years on DLP, CASB, or cloud data protection engineering.
• Deep hands-on expertise with DLP platforms: policy design, deployment, operations.
• Experience integrating DLP/CASB with SIEM, SOAR, identity, and cloud platforms.
• Proven experience building automation or AI-driven workflows for security operations.
• Strong knowledge of GLBA, PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR, CCPA.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across hybrid environments.
• Excellent communication translating technical concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise DLP controls across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Architect unified DLP policies across endpoints, SaaS, IaaS, email, and network traffic in SSE environments.
• Define security requirements and integration blueprints for enterprise DLP solutions.
• Mentor engineers and promote operational excellence and continuous learning.
• Present program insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
