Job summary

Humana Inc is seeking a Lead Decision Intelligence Engineer to own decision modeling and agentic AI across the NBA platform. You will lead a small team of engineers, translate stakeholder objectives into production decision models, and partner with product, data science, and engineering teams.

You will design and build production-grade decision intelligence capabilities using LangGraph, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, and Humana's AI Gateway, embedding governance, observability, and secure, compliant

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
6+ years of software/AI/decision intelligence experience with leadership exposure.
Strong Python engineering for production AI systems.
Hands-on experience with agentic orchestration frameworks like LangGraph/LangChain.
Experience integrating major AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, OpenAI).
Strong understanding of Decision Intelligence concepts and metrics.
Experience with LLM patterns including tool calling, RAG, memory, and orchestration.
Proven ability to lead a small engineering team while contributing hands-on.
Strong communication for senior leadership.
