Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Decision Intelligence Engineer to own the application of decision intelligence and agentic AI across the NBA platform.

You will translate stakeholder objectives into structured decision models and lead a small team of engineers to deliver production-grade AI capabilities. As a technical leader, you will collaborate with product, decision science, and data science teams, implement governance and safety measures for healthcare-oriented AI, and advance decision

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
6+ years of software or AI engineering experience with leadership exposure.
Strong Python engineering experience building production AI systems.
Hands-on experience building agentic applications and orchestration frameworks.
Experience integrating enterprise AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry).

Responsibilities

Decision intelligence modeling and optimization of business processes.
Design and deliver agentic workflows with multi-agent collaboration.
Lead evaluation, governance, and safety in healthcare AI initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, decision science, and data science teams.
Mentor engineers and uphold engineering standards.
