Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Lead Compliance Risk Manager, Product Compliance - AI to join a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will own compliance risk guidance for AI-enabled products in a highly regulated environment, helping shape launch readiness and ongoing oversight.

You will partner closely with product, engineering, legal, and risk stakeholders to translate evolving regulatory expectations into practical controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in compliance advisory or regulatory risk, fintech preferred.
• Experience with AI, ML, or model-driven products in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of UDAAP and BSA/AML regulatory frameworks in AI banking.
• Familiarity with emerging AI regulations and frameworks like NIST AI RM.
• Technical fluency to discuss model behavior with engineers.
• Strong project management for large-scale compliance initiatives.
• Ability to drive remediation and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary compliance advisor for AI products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI products meet regulatory obligations.
• Stay current on regulations and implement necessary compliance updates.
• Define compliance requirements for new product launches and expansions.
