Job summary
Vizient in Irving, TX seeks an experienced leader to drive AI automation delivery across the AI‑DLC lifecycle. You will manage one or more pods, plan and execute from engineering planning to deployment, and ensure production readiness.
You will coordinate with the Director of AI Intelligent Automation and Lead AI Automation Engineer, shaping governance, architecture, and delivery standards. This role requires onsite work in Irving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, information systems, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years software engineering or related delivery experience.
- 3+ years leading Agile software teams.
- Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
- Onsite in Irving, Texas required.
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more AI automation delivery PODs across Vizient's AI Delivery Lifecycle (AI‑DLC).
- Own day-to-day execution from planning through deployment, ensuring predictable delivery and high quality.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
- Coordinate engineering work across multiple engineers, QA, business analysts, and contractors.
- Prepare and communicate weekly delivery status reports and KPIs for leadership.
- Ensure production readiness and release planning, deployment, and post‑production support.
