Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Software Automation/Test Engineer to lead QA for cloud security testing and automation. You will work with engineers and product managers to build, automate, and execute functional tests across virtualized environments and cloud providers.

You will drive AI-enhanced quality initiatives, design scalable test architectures, and ensure the highest product quality for our next‑generation VM/CN firewalls and Cloud NGFW offerings.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience in QA for security or networking.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies and functional testing.
• Experience testing firewall or network security appliances.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA lifecycle: scoping, test-case creation, maintenance and automation.
• Drive automation across cross-functional teams to ensure quality.
• Develop tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with Product, Software, and Support to improve customer outcomes.
