Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design innovative memory architectures and data fabric for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects, defining context systems, RAG, and semantic search while driving inference optimization and scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience working with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native software development tools / code assist.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages like Go, Rust, Java.
• Understanding of AI native design processes and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with modern IDEs and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native platforms.
• Design of context systems including RAG and semantic search.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against AI and human evaluations.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Drive agent design requirements and implement via AI-native design processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams to ensure practical outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging tech.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP development.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring of Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a group of experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
