Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain architect experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will shape architectures for agent identity, authentication, and post-training customization while driving AI native design across cross-functional teams.

This role offers a hybrid, flexible environment and opportunities to present at academic conferences and contribute to IP filings, with a focus on scalable agentic systems

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI native development tools and code assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Typescript) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding of AI Native design process and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic identity and auth methods.
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, code hosting and collaboration (Github/Gitlab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and Microsoft Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design of control harness intelligence systems including multiagent systems and tools.
• Design architectures for agent identity and authentication in large-scale systems.
• Design of post training and tuning/customization environments.
• Design of synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking performance against evals.
• Lead the AI Agent control frameworks and drive AI native design processes.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure experts for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic technology business development and IP filings.
