Job summary

Agwrx Cooperative in Watertown, SD, is seeking an Agronomy Operations Location Manager to oversee all agronomy operations at the Watertown facility and ensure maximum customer service. The role requires strong communication and quick problem solving, working with growers, organization personnel, and other managers.

Responsibilities include budget management, staff supervision, and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Agriculture-related field.
• 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a full-service Agronomy operation including fertilizer, seed, seed treatment, crop protection products and custom application.
• Collaborate with the Agronomy Operations Manager to create and manage the location operating budget.
• Communicate with the Agronomy manager on needs or opportunities and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and develop employees.
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce safety policies and procedures.
