Job summary

Agwrxcoop is seeking an Agronomy Operations Location Manager for the Watertown, SD site. The role oversees all agronomy operations at the Watertown facility, ensuring top-notch customer service and staff management at the location.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s or associate degree in agronomy or related field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and supervisory capabilities. Familiarity with Agvance is a plus, with responsibilities including budgeting, safety culture, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or other Agriculture degree program.
• 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full-service Agronomy operation, including dry and liquid fertilizer, seed, seed treatment, crop protection products and custom application.
• Create and manage agronomy location operating budget.
• Communicate with the Agronomy manager on needs or opportunities that present themselves.
• Monitor the work of all employees to correct deficient performance and develop all employees.
• Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations; identify hazards and seek corrective action.
