Job summary

Agility Partners is seeking a Lead Agilist to guide Agile squads, mentor stakeholders, and promote Scrum best practices to deliver business value. The role emphasizes servant leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.

You will coach Product Owners and teams, remove impediments, and foster self-organization with strong communication and collaboration across organizational partners.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-time business experience with 3+ years of Scrum experience in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Scrum framework and Agile principles, including experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proven experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, coaching, and facilitating at multiple levels of an organization, particularly within team environments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts and guide teams toward effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and remove team and organizational impediments while navigating interpersonal and organizational conflicts.
  • Strong servant-leadership, coaching, collaboration, and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering self-organization and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience; familiarity with Kanban, Scrumban, XP, CI/CD, DevOps, and other Agile practices is a plus.

  • Identify and remove organizational and team-level impediments while facilitating communication and collaboration across Agile Squads, stakeholders, and organizational partners.
  • Build high-performing, trusting teams by leveraging feedback, metrics, inspect-and-adapt practices, servant leadership, and other Agile frameworks and techniques.
