Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking an Agile Automation Functional Tester for a 1-month on-site contract in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves leading a delivery team, designing automated tests, and driving E2E testing within a CI/CD setup.

The ideal candidate has 7-8 years of experience, strong Java/Python/Playwright/Selenium skills, API testing expertise, and agile collaboration abilities. On-site work in Grand Rapids is required; Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift are nice-to-haves.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of experience as an Agile Automation Functional Tester on end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Experience driving E2E testing activities and reporting to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python, Playwright, and test automation tools.
• Hands-on with Robot Framework and Selenium.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and APIs.
• Must have used AI tools for creating agents integrated with test automation.
• Extensive API testing and validation experience.
• Strong Agile experience in cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and retail apps knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead team for delivery and ensuring to meet tight timelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Review application code to ensure testability and long-term maintainability.
• Analyze, debug, and identify root causes of issues across test and production environments.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps engineers.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
