Job summary

ManpowerGroup, the parent company of Experis, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automated testing initiatives in Grand Rapids, MI onsite. The role emphasizes building robust frameworks, API and database testing, and collaboration across Agile teams.

The candidate will design automation suites, analyze failures, and contribute to continuous quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

5–6 years of experience as an Agile Automation Functional Tester with strong hands-on automation.
Proficiency with Robot Framework and Python, including building and maintaining automation suites.
Extensive experience in API testing and validation, including working with Microsoft Azure services and Cosmos DB.
Proven expertise in database testing using SQL Server.
Strong test management experience using Azure DevOps (ADO), plus familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
Review application code to improve testability and support long-term maintainability of automated testing.
Analyze, debug, and identify root causes of issues across test and production environments.
Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver reliable quality in an Agile workflow.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
