Job summary

Vantor is seeking an Agentic Engineering Lead to transform how Engineering operates through AI, automation, and agentic software development. This role will establish the technical direction and build agentic capabilities that enable our Engineering Operating Model.

You will partner with engineering teams to adapt the Agentic SDLC based on their products, architectures, missions, and constraints, designing reusable patterns for scale and observability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering leadership with a bachelor’s or equivalent.
• Deep software engineering and architecture expertise in modern SDLC, automation, APIs, and tooling.
• Hands-on design of AI agents, agentic systems, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, context engineering, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Ability to establish technical direction and influence senior engineers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle and Engineering Operations.
• Translate standards, playbooks, governance, and systems of record into automated workflows, controls, and agents.
• Implement the Engineering data architecture and systems-of-record model with integrations and traceability.
• Define scalable patterns for agent architecture, context, human/agent handoffs, guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
• Advise engineering teams on adopting the Agentic SDLC for their architectures and missions.
• Develop reusable agentic capabilities and patterns that scale across Engineering.
• Measure adoption and effectiveness of agentic capabilities and continuously improve them.
