Job summary

Vantor is hiring an Agentic Engineering Lead in Westminster, CO, to transform Engineering through AI, automation, and agentic software development. You will establish technical direction and build agentic capabilities, partnering with teams to adapt the Agentic SDLC to their products and constraints.

The role requires deep software engineering expertise, hands-on AI agents experience, and the ability to influence senior engineers and leaders across the organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with a bachelor’s, 10+ with a master’s, 8+ with a PhD, or equivalent
• Deep software engineering and architecture expertise across modern SDLC, automation, APIs, developer tooling, and systems integration
• Hands-on experience designing and building AI agents, agentic systems, or AI-enabled engineering workflows
• Strong understanding of LLMs, context engineering, orchestration, evaluation, observability, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop patterns
• Demonstrated ability to establish technical direction and influence senior engineers and leaders across an organization

Responsibilities

• Architect and build agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle and Engineering Operations.
• Translate engineering standards, playbooks, governance, and systems of record into automated workflows, controls, and agents.
• Implement the Engineering data architecture and systems-of-record model, including integrations, context, and traceability for agentic workflows and trusted data.
• Define scalable patterns for agent architecture, context, handoffs, guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
• Advise engineering teams on adapting the Agentic SDLC for their architectures and missions.
• Develop reusable agentic capabilities and patterns that scale across Engineering.
• Measure adoption and effectiveness of agentic engineering capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
