Job summary

Exact Match Recruitment is seeking an Aftermarket Parts Release & Supplier Quality Engineer in Texas. The role leads end-to-end release, specification definition, supplier validation, and quality assurance for the aftermarket portfolio.

Responsibilities include defining specifications, leading APQP/PPAP activities, conducting supplier audits, and ensuring timely 3–6 month launches with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement, warranty, and supplier quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or quality engineering.
• 5+ years in supplier quality engineering or aftermarket/product engineering.
• Experience leading APQP/PPAP, capability studies, supplier audits, and corrective action management.
• Knowledge of wear components and mechanical assemblies; familiarity with rubber tracks and undercarriage components.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for part release.
• Strong cross-functional communication and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end release, specification definition, supplier validation, and QA for aftermarket parts.
• Define and maintain aftermarket technical specifications for fit, form, and durability.
• Lead supplier qualification and validation processes, including APQP/PPAP activities.
• Perform PFMEA, control plans, run at rate, and first article approvals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely 3–6 month launches.
• Monitor warranty trends and implement corrective actions.
