Job summary

Exact Match Recruitment is seeking an Aftermarket Parts Release & Supplier Quality Engineer in Texas. The role owns end-to-end release, specification definition, supplier validation, and quality assurance for the aftermarket portfolio, coordinating across engineering, sourcing, warranty, and global suppliers.

The candidate will establish performance specs, manage SAP release processes, lead APQP/PPAP activities, and drive root-cause analysis to maintain safety, reliability, and brand protection

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial/quality engineering.
• APQP/PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA training strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain aftermarket specifications for fit, form, function, and durability.
• Own APQP/PPAP processes and lead supplier qualification activities.
• Lead PFMEA, control plans, run at rate, capability checks, and first article approvals.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and warranty to meet launch timelines.
• Monitor warranty trends and drive corrective actions based on field data.
