Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years in aerospace structural analysis/design.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform linear and nonlinear stress, buckling, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses on metallic and composite structures.
• Build, refine, and validate FEM models using ANSYS, NASTRAN, or Abaqus.
• Create and modify 3D CAD drawings using Catia or Siemens NX per GD&T standards.
• Lead mechanical design of complex assemblies and support hardware integration.
• Collaborate with aerodynamics, thermal, and manufacturing teams to optimize weight and performance.
• Support environmental qualification aligned with MIL-STD-810.
• Contribute to technical reports, proposals, and program planning.
