Job summary

ITG Communications in Callaway, FL is seeking an experienced Aerial Telecom Lineman to lead aerial construction and maintenance on telecom infrastructure. You will climb poles, install fiber and copper, direct ground crew, and ensure safety and quality on site.

You will interpret design maps, follow NESC standards, and document progress and materials while mentoring junior crew members. This is a full-time on-site role with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in aerial telecommunications construction.
• Experience reading telecom construction prints and design maps.
• Knowledge of NESC safety requirements.
• Ability to climb poles and work at heights.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial telecommunications construction activities including pole climbing and cable placement.
• Lead and direct ground crew and junior members.
• Interpret telecom construction plans and fiber route documentation.
• Install aerial infrastructure including fiber and copper cables.
• Operate bucket trucks and other aerial construction equipment.
• Ensure practices comply with NESC and client specs.
• Maintain safety policies and PPE usage.
• Document progress, material usage, and field conditions.
