Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Telecommunications or lineman technical training preferred.
• Valid drivers’ license for the specified vehicle(s).

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial telecommunications construction activities including pole climbing, strand placement, cable placement, and fiber/copper cable lashing.
• Lead and direct groundmen and crew members in aerial construction activities.
• Interpret and follow telecom construction plans, design maps, and fiber route documentation.
• Install aerial telecom infrastructure including fiber optic/copper cables, hardware, and related components.
• Operate bucket trucks and other aerial construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure installation practices comply with NESC, company standards, and client specifications.
