Job summary

RescueLink is seeking an Advanced EMT to provide essential prehospital and interfacility care. You will perform assessments, manage IV/IO access, and administer approved medications under protocol while supporting quality and billing documentation.

You may lead a BLS/AEMT unit, deliver clear reports to medical control and receiving facilities, and collaborate with dispatch, fire, law enforcement, and hospital staff. Strong English communication and adherence to regulations are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Advanced EMT certification in good standing (state-specific).
• Current CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA or equivalent).
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and scheduled interfacility transports.
• Perform primary and secondary assessments, monitor vitals during transport.
• Provide BLS care and perform AEMT-level interventions per protocols.
• Establish IV/IO access and administer approved medications.
• Lead on BLS/AEMT units and communicate with receiving facilities.
• Complete thorough ePCR documentation for each patient contact.
• Ensure HIPAA, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
