Job summary

RescueLink is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to provide ALS assessment, treatment, and transport for emergency and interfacility patients. You will serve as crew lead, make independent clinical decisions in the field, and document care to support medical necessity and billing.

Responsibilities include advanced patient care, interfacility transfers, leadership and communication, and strict adherence to protocols, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements while delivering dignified, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• Current Parametric certification in good standing as a Paramedic for the applicable service area (OH/PA); NRP preferred.
• BC/NRP preferred; ACLS, PALS (or PEPP), and CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English; basic computer skills for ePCR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls, ALS intercepts, and scheduled interfacility transports.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and form a field impression and treatment plan.
• Provide ALS care within state scope and medical direction, including cardiac monitoring, 12-lead ECG, and transmission.
• Lead on-scene as crew lead, directing EMTs, AEMTs, and first responders.
• Complete thorough ePCR documentation for every patient contact; ensure medical necessity and billing support.
