Job summary

The National Council of Young Men’s Christian Associations of the United States of America is seeking an Adventure Programs Coordinator to lead all adventure programs, including rock climbing, high and low ropes, mountain biking, trail maintenance, and team building. This role supports Summer Camp and School Year Programs, providing on-site oversight and coaching to facilitators.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of leadership, and ACCT 2 certification,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or significant life experience.
  • Minimum two years’ experience directly leading a team.
  • Willingness to obtain or currently certified in additional ARC and other adventure related program certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the delivery of adventure program experiences across program modes.
  • Supervise and coach program facilitators; assist with scheduling, safety, and daily operations.
  • Drive program innovation and maintain a culture of safety during experiences.
  • Provide on-site oversight of camper experiences across Summer Camp and School Year Programs.
