Job summary

Children's Aid Society in Chappaqua, NY is seeking an Adventure Facilitator for our camp program. You will work with a team to run large group activities, supervise a group of 10-15 participants, and provide spotting and guidance on low ropes while belaying high ropes.

Debriefing sessions with participants are also part of the role. This is a per diem position with bookings mainly between September–November and March–June, typically 9:00 am–3:30 pm, with some programs extending to 6:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience in leading activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up activity props, supplies, and ropes course elements before programming and clean up and store materials at the end of the program.
• Distribute snacks and meals to the participants.
• Follow all safety procedures as outlined in the Wagon Road Local Operating Procedures.
• Lead debriefing sessions with participants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
