Job summary

Meissner Filtration Products is seeking an Advanced Product Engineer for its Camarillo, CA campus. You will drive the design, testing and release of complex products and subsystems for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, leading development efforts, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring designs are manufacturable and verifiable for production.

You will own prototypes, run lean testing (DOE), and develop qualification protocols to ensure process stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Experience in mechanical design, development or release of physical products.
• Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of robust mechanical designs balancing performance and manufacturability.
• Own development of complex molded parts or assemblies including tooling strategy.
• Lead mechanical subassemblies, sourcing components and managing tolerance stack-ups.
• Lead prototyping efforts and lean DOE testing to evaluate concepts.
• Coordinate supplier identification and development for complex products.
• Develop and execute qualification/validation protocols and DOEs to verify production capability.
• Act as SME on product lifecycle and defend application-specific capabilities.
