Job summary

Meissner Filtration Products seeks a Senior Manager of Applications Engineering (Bioprocessing Design) to lead multiple AE teams, shape strategy, and deliver scalable, cost-effective bioprocessing solutions.

This on-site role at our Camarillo, CA headquarters requires 10+ years in engineering within a regulated pharma environment, plus 5+ years in technical management and cross-functional leadership to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in engineering from four-year college or university.
• 10+ years in engineering within a highly regulated industry (pharma preferred).
• 5+ years in technical management or leadership of cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Ability to read and interpret scientific, financial, and regulatory documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from customers or regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable structures and processes to meet global demand for custom solutions.
• Lead and develop AE team leaders, including Managers and Supervisors overseeing engineers, drafters, technicians, and coordinators.
• Direct and support senior AE team members on large, high-stakes projects ensuring alignment and execution.
• Drive regional strategic vision for the AE organization aligned with corporate goals.
• Review performance metrics to evaluate outcomes, resources, and goal alignment.
