Job summary

Meissner in Camarillo, CA, is seeking an Advanced Product Engineer to drive design, testing, and release of complex bioprocessing equipment. You will own mechanical subassemblies, lead prototyping and DOE testing, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure manufacturability and production readiness.

The role is on-site at our Camarillo headquarters and requires a Bachelor's in engineering with 4+ years in mechanical/manufacturing engineering, preferably in biotech or pharma, plus CAD proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 4+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience as Mechanical/Manufacturing/Product Engineer in pharma/biotech is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with CAD and MS Office; familiarity with MS Project is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of mechanical designs and subsystem assemblies with attention to manufacturability and tolerances.
• Coordinate with suppliers for tooling development and feasibility assessments.
• Plan and execute prototyping, DOE testing, and validation to verify performance and quality.
