Job summary

Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto is seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Professional to supervise and mentor an APP team while partnering with clinical leadership on strategic initiatives.

This role provides clinical direction, supports staff development, oversees hiring decisions, and ensures evidence-based, high-quality patient care across the service line.

You will coordinate education, participate in committees, and help implement quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• APN: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing or related field from an accredited university.
• PA: BA/BS in Science or PA studies from an accredited university.
• At least 1 year as a licensed APP; 3+ years preferred; management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a minimum of 10 APPs and mentor staff.
• Co-direct clinical, operational and administrative initiatives with leadership.
• Lead staff meetings and ensure competency and adherence to policy.
• Investigate and respond to patient/family concerns about care.
• Oversee hiring, evaluation, and professional development of APPs.
