The Division of Legal Services' Document Management Unit is seeking a Lead Administrative Support Assistant in Jefferson City. This role requires independent decision-making and strong knowledge of agency policies and procedures related to redacting confidential or sensitive information. You will review large volumes of material, determine what can be released under federal and state law, apply careful judgment, and produce reports on completed work. Experience with Release of Information (ROI) is preferred.
Key duties include reviewing confidential/sensitive documents for required redactions; processing and tracking document requests; advising your supervisor to ensure requests are properly fulfilled; estimating completion times; maintaining detailed logs of redactions and legal authorities; recording time spent on each request; coordinating with supervisors, local offices, and team members; responding to public inquiries; researching assigned issues; compiling relevant data; and preparing reports, spreadsheets, and databases.
3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.).
