Job summary
Ford Motor Company in Dearborn is seeking an ADAS HMD Verification & Validation Engineer to develop and verify customer-facing ADAS features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering, Lane Keeping, and BlueCruise. You will work with cross-functional teams and apply model-based design, HIL/MIL/SIL, and MATLAB tools to ensure feature performance across vehicles and environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Controls, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience developing/testing features using radar, camera, lidar, ultrasonic sensors or related vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with actuators and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, and execute design validation methods for ADAS HMD at component, system, and vehicle level across varied environments.
- Complete sign-off of feature performance for ADAS HMD features.
- Lead or support verification plans and methods for ADAS HMD features.
- Coordinate with feature owners to design/execute model changes, regression testing, and test vectors; review data and issues.
