Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) in Las Vegas seeks a registered nurse to provide safe, competent care in an acute setting. You will lead the healthcare team and ensure adherence to patient-centered care standards while supervising staff under your direction.

This role requires an accredited nursing diploma, Nevada RN license, and current BLS/PALS or NRP credentials as needed by the department. Pre-employment assessments may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Nevada RN license required; BLS, PALS or NRP as department needs.
• Minimum pre-employment assessments as required by the facility.
• One year FT or three years PT acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care aligned with policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide staff under supervision; uphold Service Excellence.
