Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent care and to lead and support the healthcare team in a dynamic acute care setting.

The RN will uphold patient-centered care principles, collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, and ensure quality outcomes in a teaching hospital environment. Nevada license, BLS, and specialty certifications are required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or completion of a specialty course.
• Current RN license in Nevada; BLS required; ACLS/PALS or NRP as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate Patient Centered Care and promote teamwork and safety.
