Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies. You will lead and support the healthcare team, upholding patient-centered care and supervising staff to ensure service excellence.

Must hold an active RN license in Nevada with BLS, and PALS or NRP certifications as required by department. BSN preferred; acute care experience is desirable. A pre-employment assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification, Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrate Service Excellence standards.
