Reflections Retirement Community in Tuscola, IL seeks a full-time Activities Coordinator to lead the activity team and design engaging programs for residents. You’ll develop monthly calendars, manage budgets, and coordinate transportation services to organize outings while partnering with families and staff to promote dignity and connection.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must hold valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 21 years or older preferred with driving record in good standing.
• Prior activities/life enrichment experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Must possess leadership skills and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Activity team, guiding residents through activities and events.
• Designs and facilitates recreational and social programs.
• Develops a monthly activities calendar and tracks participation.
• Oversees budget and resources for the activities program.
• Manages our Community transportation program, including driving the company van.
• Coordinates the Resident Council to foster empowerment.
• Assesses program impact and adjusts to resident needs.
• Produces the Community newsletter reflecting mission and values.
