Job summary

Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services of Western Washington is seeking a Lead Activities Assistant to coordinate programming for Nativity House residents. This role involves scheduling, guiding group and independent activities, and ensuring documentation aligns with care plans and regulatory standards.

The position emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care within a strengths-based framework, with emphasis on client autonomy and community integration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification: CNA, NAC, or HCA.
• Three years’ experience with vulnerable populations.
• Food Handlers Card within 2 weeks of employment.
• First Aid and CPR within 2 weeks of employment.
• Two years’ experience as Activities Assistant or scheduling activities.
• Two years' experience working with the homeless population.
• Background checks required before offer.

Responsibilities

• Schedule programming and lead activities.
• Ensure documentation and case note compliance.
• Provide ADL support with dignity.
• Maintain safe, clean activity spaces.
• Promote client input and autonomy.
• Coordinate with Program Manager and staff.
